Specimen Collection Criteria

Collect: A random urine specimen in a screw-capped container (preferred) or other sterile collection container. Minimum is 10 mL for both pediatric and adult patients.

Physician Office/Draw Specimen Preparation

Maintain specimen refrigerated (2-8°C or 36-46°F) prior to transport.

Reference Range

See specific analytes for reference ranges.
This panel includes urine screening for: Amphetamine/Methamphetamines, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Cannabinoid, Cocaine, FentanylMethadone, Opiates, OxycodonePhencyclidine (PCP).

Test Methodology

Immunoassay, Gas Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometery (GC/MS), Liquid Chromatography/Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS/MS).

The confirmation component of this test was developed by Beaumont Health. It has not been cleared or approved by the FDA. The laboratory is regulated under CLIA as qualified to perform high-complexity testing. This test is used for clinical purposes and should not be regarded as investigational or for research.
