Specimen Collection Criteria

Estriol, Unconjugated (uE₃), Maternal Triple Screen is only performed as a part of the following tests:

• Integrated Screen, Full or Serum
• Quad Screen
• Obstetric Triple Screen

Storage

1,Centrifuged SST tubes may be transported and stored at refrigerator temperatures (2^o -8^o C) for up to 24 hours. DO NOT FREEZE TUBES CONTAINING BLOOD. For longer storage, the serum should be removed from the gel and refrigerated (2^o -8^o C).

Red-top tubes and Microtainers^® may be stored at refrigerator temperatures (2^o - 8^o C). DO NOT FREEZE TUBES CONTAINING BLOOD. For longer storage, the serum should be removed from the clot and refrigerated (2^o -8^o C).
